Hi Greta, the world's problems are indeed complicated, and of course need to be highlighted, but I'm afraid your speeches are complete horse shit and would ultimately end in global meltdown, we need considered actions which are well thought out by scientists and economist's who have no interest in self promotion. In the meantime you could do one thing for us.. ...fuck off. Apologise for the language, but this shit is getting on my wick. Nothing wrong with drunken post's, in fact they can be most humorous, I once had a lady friend who cherished her 'toys' On one occasion the battery's ran out, however being ever helpful I wired it up to the mains with disastrous consequences, although she did an impressive John Wayne walking impression afterwards, the relationship do not last, no idea why 🤔 |

There is no joined up thinking on saving the planet and keeping us Humans! Every countries population growth cannot exceed an average of 2.1 to 3.4 kids depending on conditions, or greater than 0.4%, apparently, they don't seem to mention that much in the news. The amount of RF (especially near microwave band) Radiation that continues to increase to be emitted in to the water laden atmosphere, the billions of watts of energy just disappears apparently (Generation and transmission) . I was reading an article put out by a Thai Professor on the subject, but have not seen any more articles from him,  I better check the door is locked  . They have agreed to stop unsustainable cutting of the trees down, but have allowed enough time to de-forest substantial areas. Heating houses with ground sourced heat pumps (UK) every single house to pursue their individual installation, I think the majority of locations may struggle having a trench for the source loop. Thinking of our location lots of pipe and cables under the ground probably going back 100 years. the only efficient way to do it would be to dig a communal trench grid at the area where the gardens back to back along the block. New builds happening now seem to have no space, spacing or land area for such considerations. As far as Electric cars are concerned I have just no attraction to them, I certain have no desire to own one. Out of curiosity I looked at leasing deals but they do not state the price including all maintenance. Of course the site went on about lower maintenance costs, so the add on price would not be much (not). I still go by what a environmental NGO rep said on the TV 25-30 years ago, cars should be very well engineered, last more than 20 years, and be 95% recyclable at end of life. Anyway apparently we can only generate less than 100% of our electricity in the UK. We can only provide 60% of the food we use in the UK? Very little joined up thinking or Logic anywhere! Are we doomed  |

ok I'll stick my oar in  I LIKE MOTORCYCLES BECAUSE THEY ARE FUN (sorry for shouting) I think an electric bike would be fun for one reason, torque, torque gives acceleration and reeling in the horizon is one of my favourite pastimes on a bike. problem is its massively outweighed by the downside, huge (heavy) battery pack, fill ups at a petrol station a few minutes, fill up at a charging point, hours? (super fast chargers? knacker your batteries in double quick time?) and wheres the sound? so no not for me ta |
