Good that Brown are back, but I CC blue as being the issue at the moment, still need some blue for my 400 pre-refit kit! To minimise supply chain risks...
I did find some pattern ones in Brazil, but never pursued them.. .so far on Saturday.
DDMoto CMSNL DSS eBay UK Old field Predator ...out of stock... One JP site "out of production"
Blue is the new brown, some will pop up, but how long...

Looking again at Carl's engine, the crank is probably OK. The letters on it are BBB, to go with the case CCC, then I should now need only black shells, and I think they are available. First question, Looking at cmsl what part number are the black ones ? Also, I need at least one new big end beaeing set, so how do I work out which ? Silvers seem to suggest they are colour coded too
Sorry to keep asking, but I would rather check.

crankcase CCC and crankshaft BBB cross reference as black, heres where it can get bamboozling, black are then given the bearing code B so if your ordering off cms for that crank and case then its B's that you want dont worry about the double listing on cms for each colour, I think its just honda switched bearing manufacturers during production, the shells themselves are effectively the same.

Also, any pointers regarding big end shells ? Are they variable thicknesses too ?

Thanks John. When you say available, where do you recommend ? David silver were showing £14.50 ea, not a bad price. They seem to have most of the 400 conrod shell options in stock ( though it could be one of each number...never checked the detail page.)

Thank John. I am certain you and Buster have had some choice words to describe my ineptitude. I have been looking more closely at the con rods. I can now see (just) what the problem was in identifying numbers. I am on the phone app just now, so will post properly off the computer in a bit.

DSS only have 4 in No 13216-413-015 in stock, he who hesitates..and all that.

yep 3 sets of black for the mains and two browns for the big ends
all look like they can be ordered through silvers, if you get the part numbers from cms and search them on silvers they can get them for you
