Seen that Andy. The trip to Lord Beer's great Hall is from Warrington-Manchester- Over Yorkshire Dale's national Park- North Pennines and Northumberland national Park. On a good weather day the pictures should be stunning. Nothing to do with motorbikes, but I would be happy to post em if there was any interest. May even show up some good riding country. Expect it will take me an hour and a half each way. Just a teeny bit longer on a Superdream. I, for one, would love to see some pictures and think others would too.

I would like to be the first to volunteer...CTB to do that one. 😊 I second that suggestion, however Sir Carl will need a starting point, here you go 👍🍺

That's what I'm saying though Paul....with your superb mechanical ability, Duffers paintwork and Lord Beers machining (and drinking) skils to name just three talented members, can you image the outcome?
It would literally be a dream machine.

The next stage for Lord Beer's tank is the delivery ! Not directly Superdream related, except to say I will be carrying a fair bit of one in the back. We had all been waiting for it to stop pissing down, but I also needed a bit of grass to be cut. OK, I will have to be more specific....Cut, and shifted please.... Challenging, but it will do ! (Kin farmers) Now the planning. Here is the route shown with a red line - For those interested it is about 145 nautical miles (Yup, we navigate like a boat does coz the earth IS round) and the average speed is 95-100 Knots. In real numbers 170 miles and 110mph. No flight plan or permissions needed to be filed, you just phone your destination and check any notices, check for any en-route notices and go. I will talk to air traffic in the form of Manchester approach control as I head towards Warrington. Perhaps Warton, as I pass nearby, then the main frequency to chat on for information will be (would you believe) London information. They look after all low level traffic in open spaces like the Pennines. First and only turn point is Appelby before changing direction to go past Newcastle ( Have a chat) and on to Eshott to present Lord Beer with his goodies. Altitudes... 1200 ft between home and Warrington, then a gradual climb to between 3000-4000 feet. On board I will use a combination of two GPS systems, a radio and transponder, plus anew gadget called SkyEcho 2 which is clever. It makes me show up on other aircraft GPS systems, so even without radar, they can see me. Intended departure is Sunday mid-morning and the flight will show up on apps like Flightradar24. The Details will be under G-FARR if you were interested enough to see. Return will be after a sadly dry lunch (only for me. I trust Lord Beer to have a minion to drive the chariot ) Pictures will follow, and a big thank you to all who helped pull this together.

A sound idea Lord Duffer, however I think I shall set aside the beer till the evening, the thought of scratching thy hard work does not bear thinking about. I shall be at work in the morning, doing my own stuff, then driving up to Eshott, to meet thy good self, lunch shall be provided, sandwiches or pasties or something like that and of course crisps with a can of pop, lighting a bonfire and cooking one of the local sheep may be frowned upon for some reason. Whilst you enjoy this feast, I'll quickly borrow your fine aircraft to practice bombing runs on those who displease me, but do not worry, I've been practicing on Microsoft Flight Simulator and never fail to crash into something, tall buildings, trees, the control tower etc, but I think I've got the hang of it now 😁 After bidding thee farewell I shall return to fit thy fine work to the bike and will post pictures for the good forum members. And then and only then will Beer enjoyment commence, it will be a most glorious day. Lord Beer salutes this fine forum for making such things possible 🍺🍺

Just landed back at base. Had a few rozzers to dodge due to a small misunderstanding with a credit card. Will post pictures later. My, but Lord Beer is a big lad.
